Run On

We are runners. We do so for our own benefit As well as the benefit of passersby. We have a power within us that desires more We desire the beauty and power within. We want to push the limits to see the world. Running is our purest form of expression. It allows us to show the world our strength. The marathon is our destination. Some do more and some do less, But we all run. We all strive. Runners are a special cluster of our world. When someone tells us we can’t We will. When someone tries to hurt us, We persevere; we run on. The Boston Marathon bombing is a tragedy, But we are strong. We are powerful. We were hurt; we are hurt and pained, But we will persevere. The human spirit is indomitable and, As runnners, we show the true power of thehuman spirit.
