Run

Your words punch a hole though me

Its deeper then any bullet can ever make

I want to turn away

But I want you to feel the pain I feel

See the pain you have caused me

I look at you in your eyes

You soften

Seeing my tears well up inside

Seeing that you have hurt me

You reach your hand to me

I jerk away from your grasp

‘Destiny I’m….’

I turn and run

Not hearing what you have to say

Run from the thing that made me smile

That made me laugh

Run from the only thing I cared about

The only thing that kept me fighting

Kept me standing

Kept me believing

The only thing I thought I would ever need or ask for

You.
