Run Away
Made an attempt to apologize, that I don't understand.
You made me out to be a liar.
But you don't know the truth and you just don't care.
I don't want to feel this insecure.
Just as worthless as they come.
I was trying for so long, now I've got to learn to just let go.
Go run away.
Away from you and all I know.
I must let go of us, the memories that we've made.
I must learn how to love again,
Despite how much it hurts.
You tear me down, make me feel so guilty.
You say it's all my fault.
Call me out, make me cry.
It's never your fault, always mine.
And now I don't need you anymore.
I am sick of suffocating, and it's time to just move on.
Though my heart may be heavy with the burden of our memories,
I can't look back to the past.
I must let go.
Go run away.
Away from you and all I know.
I must let go of us, the memories that we've made.
I must learn how to love again,
Despite how much it hurts.
I will do my very best to honor us.
Not in anger, or in hate, not even pain.
I will remember the way we loved one another.
You made me who I am today, so much stronger.
And I must go run away.
Away from you and all I know.
I must let go of us, the memories that we've made.
I must learn how to love again,
Despite how much it hurts.
