Runaway
He took my heart and ran with it.
Far away he ran,
and when I asked him for it back,
too far had he run away.
I called out into the dusky gloom,
through the air thick with desire,
and through the thick and gloomy dusk,
Heard I nothing but a whisper.
He'd run too far and fast and long,
so when I shouted out to him,
that heart theif was too far gone,
to hear and act on my request.
Take this lesson to your heart,
listen to my words.
Don't let a man steal your heart,
for he will run with it away.
