"The Runner"
Everyday is a constant struggle
but I learn to juggle it. I run to
feel the wind but it catches me as
i breath in. I try to dodge the way
of life until I'm on my knees begging
for forgiveness. I'm happy I'm sad
I'm mad I'm hungry for more. But I realize
that their are people who need more. i
wish to spread my wings and leave the
nest. I feel it's a tight grip on me that
want come loose but every now and then
it begins to feel light. Every second every day
i hear my heartbeat but then again it could be
me listening to the way I speak.
