The runner
As the thoughts invade my mind
Insomnia takes over my brain
Living the life of a runner sometimes bring Shame
But even still, a runner I remain
Unresolved issues and burned bridges
That's all I see in my past then I question
Is love real? Does it truly last?
It's hard to form the words when you're strapped in the roller coasters of life's mistakes...
Living proof of my parents' sin
I just feel like I can never win
Maybe I shouldn't run
just confront my fears and grow
And then those thoughts invade my mind
And insomnia cause them to continue to rewind....
