Running

Ever wonder how to escape from the world

Just for a few seconds

My life is based on running shoes and open pavements

It seems like my life is running out

Tick-tock tick-tock

I have miles and miles ahead of me

Streets and Miles still not covered

I run and I feel free

Worn out like my running shoes

Shoulders straight

Arms bents at 90 degrees

Almost there…

So far from the finish line

And yet I can’t seem to stop

My tenacious spirit keeps me going
