Running

The passion runs through my vains

and the sweat races down my face.

The determination shows in my hazel eyes,

and my pounding heart is the fire to keep me going.

Don't you see this is my everything?

The hard work is revealed in each step I take.

The motivation for this sport is beyond average,

Nothing can stand in my way.

Take a deep breath,

this is mine and this is my everything.

The time has come again,

let the adrenalin speed through my body.

Both feet behind the white line,

a line that stands between me and my medal.

The starting gun goes off,

and I know this is the reason why I am alive.
