Running

I'm stuck in a race
I no longer want to run
I can't keep up pace
Seems like I'm the only one

If I slow down he'll catch me
If I speed up I'll lose my breath
Forward is all I see
Forward unto death

My legs are weak
I'm finally done
No words to speak
I've been outrun

I'm in is grasp
He's pulled me down
One final lap
Last time around
