Running Back

We have turned away from the One who matters, The One who created, our everything Our surroundings, our lives Fearing not the One who creates The One who destroys We run to Him in times of need But He does not hear our plea For we have abused Him with every lie, every excuse We murdered Him without a care Yet we still are unaware Of His power To destroy every hour Every minute of our lives Nonetheless we still aren’t running Running back to the One who will save us Save us from our evil selves And keep us from falling into the depths of Hell
