Running on Fuel

It’s like a never-ending cycle

Of things to do, people to see

Words to be said and air to breathe

One step at a time I think and then act

Give a thought

Lend a hand

Make a plan of attack

I take ownership of victory

Grab pride by the horns

The courageous words I tell myself

Doesn’t cool the storm

With the power inside

There’s no stopping this beast

The strength of what I do

Can easily crush the least

I’m humble at heart

But can sting like a bee

Contribute to my flames

Or be lost in the sea

This mind won’t stop

Can’t quite when told

It’s always running faster

Not the first to hold

I am in the lead
