Running (Interactive poem)

They screamed. I ran. They screamed name louder so I ran faster. Louder, faster. Louder, fast. I suddenly ran into a forest. I slowed to a stop. I listened for footsteps, but I only heard owls hooting and crickets chirping. As I was listening to the surrounding noises, a knife was at my throat and I was on the ground, a rag at my mouth, I blacked out. When I came to, I was in a cabin. A log cabin. I was at a table, my wrists tied to the arms of a chair. I was scared and I jumped when a man came from behind a curtain.

(You can comment the rest of the story. That's the fun part. I love hearing what others can think of, and this is a fun way to do so. Can't wait to read what you have to say.)
