Running, Running

running forward slightly slanted over gravel stones I panted air in front of me supplanted kneecaps lifting elbows pumping intra-capillary thumping cardiogram just keeps jumping ceaseless rivers salty sweating acrid city smoke now setting thick air is no call for fretting endless footpath runner's highway straight and true and endless skyway slapping miles down in my way battered tongues the sole arising from the womb and then revising the dead into the grave despising mid-stride hiccups don't confound endless cycle going round crisis is resolved and feet rebound running where running when running to begin again running running running running running to the very end
