Running Into Theories
I am accidentally running into theories
Chasing around an idea that lacks the sense of direction
Crashing into series
Of unfortunate misconceptions
I cannot calculate
Or graph out the map
Find a moment I can validate
I cannot separate the fiction from the fact
That I messed up somewhere along the road
I took a detour off the yellow bricks
Now I carry the weight of the load
And carry bad memories I can’t forget
So, here I am now trying to find a solution
Hitting every brick wall
Trying to prove what cannot be proven
Bracing myself for the fall
When reality knocks me down
Telling me the answers that I am search for
Cannot be found
Something wrong with this poem?
