Running threw a tornado blind
Running threw a tornado blind
This is a story about a young boy with the heart of Troy.
Let's see the story would start off with me at a very young age of 5 a boy who with out his moms could not survive and the evil intent with in his eyes.
One day on Christmas the very young boy wanted a game system and you know moms had to get what her son wanted even if she had to sell drugs and run from it when moms and dad got back christmas morning the young boy seen one gift that day I know yaw asking was there any more no we weren't rich that day I grew up in a hood where the only thing you knew how to do was get it so we where poor but who isn't but that day the young boy did not care he was humble as long as he got something for Christmas why not stay humble so it was 5:33 on the dot they said why don't you open it up he said can I and grabed the box opened it up it was a Nintendo not a 64 but just something they could afford the young boy was to happy but forgot it was bout 5 o clock at night with the only tv being up stairs and his cousin room because my moms had to live with her sister because stuff just ain't go right but back to the story the boy went back to sleep or that was his theory dad slept on the couch with moms in the living room because we have a four bedroom house now let's skip to middle school dad was always locked up in jail because he can't let his family just starve and be in the drought had to make sure his little boy stayed fresh for his first day back to school at this point I'm like 12 nothing unexpected I was still humble and my mother taught me right I never had to fight for anything because in my hood every body was a family if you grew up there that is that and every body knew every body but sometimes that still lead to fights I could say one time in the 7th grade one of my homeboys said man my dad said your dads a snitch and I know that my dad never been no snitch so we fought from that day on we ain't even speak not a word not even a squeak but that was the same day when the teacher wanted to speak I was know for little things like sleeping in class when some one would talk for a long time I folded my arms put my head down and ain't talk which when she seen me gave me instant detention all I could think of is why god your little angle have messed up teacher drove me home I said nothing but where my house was she pulled up my moms was waiting on the stairs with a belt but my mother ain't hit me with it why because my heart already then sank into the bottom of my guts I started crying before I could even get to the step I cried before I even got to the cut tears rolling down my face and everything what I learned from that day was fear everything now let's skip to high school me as a young buck but slacking again like I was to cool for school ain't even have a pen but this time I was out of my environment I went in there and was nerves the first day in I could not believe that such a high school was so big and clean and what I walk into another dominated black school with just other races in between walked into class thought man this should be easy I slacked so much my English teacher would not even give me a second look when I asked for some make up work so I would not have to go to summer school at the end of the school year man my stomach was tied in knots felt like some one put a knot in a shoe string man lucky they don't give out report cards or I would have been the man out but skip to the month after that man I must have died and forgot that the mail came that Saturday with my report card my mother woke me up and said u have to go to summer school and you know we broke how you going to go and how you going to get 75$ and that was the price I ain't even know this is the part where the tornado comes into place my mind was saying man what Is this amount of money she speaks of 75$ dollars I never seen that amount she was like it seems u need a job I was only like 16 at the time and really ain't know about summer jobs but I was to late for that I was having a melt down I could not believe i slipped up this much had me looking for spare change underneath the rug the only thing I could think of is why don't I sell drugs I could only see that way out my mind and body where telling me sure it will work out but my heart was saying are you really ready for that work out every day standing on that block rather it's cold or hot rather it's rain or snow you have to be on that block that's the only way u can make money and earn your keep then my heart said and what about having to carry that heat that steal that's always will be on your waist what if some one runs up and blows your face of your body not that would be a disgrace I was in panic I had no way out I could not breath could not think about another man walking up to me with the same plan as me walking around with a gun in his hand then my cousin came from out the room and handed me 75$ I could not believe it I was to relieved but was worrying could it really be that easy I accepted the money said thank you and he said I was welcome but something deep down felt a little funny like are you really a man this is what you will resort to If you have a debt looking for hand outs just to pay your rent I could not believe it I was so happy that I ain't really pay attention to my mind now let's skip to 12th grade so I'm happy that I fixed my ways I had tried harder to pass classes and not fall into a slump made a couple of good friends that have my back to the end but what I did not know was college see I had my plan since way back when to be a game designer and be the best at what I do and win but living in Baltimore where every college in your area is dedicated to being a doctor or a lawyer you had to look outside of the city. Now at this point I have put my blind fold on and tried to go against this tornado I like to call money I was just picking colleges that would take me in and give me a chance but as soon as I graduated I started to slack again I started to become a play boy not for things like sex no because I have looked all over the place for happiness and have not found not a single inch was seen so I thought if I date these girls then maybe I may find happiness all I found was the questions that all men ask there self if you get her pregnant will you be able to take care of her will you be able to treat her to anything and that's when I just stopped and thought I'm ruining there life's I have to let them go so as of now I have cut my search of happiness and some of my life lines and now I'm in college doing one class with a negative mind set and know one to pull me out of this tornado of dreams and money it's so dark it's really kind of funny how once you graduate the spot light is off and it's only you at the end many people have tried to pull me out but I'm just to deep I feel as there is know way out and who will hear me scream... The end
