Running Was My Life
Running was my life
Until I met this girl
Who I knew I wanted as my wife
She loved me for me
She knew me better than I knew myself
She was my best quality
She was my motivation
She was my joy
So I said, "lets take a vacation!"
I wanted to run for her
I chose Boston
She wanted to run with me
She and running were my life
After that race,
Running was my only life.
