Running Water

The world is spinning,

round and round

Always moving

Always changing

The world we lived in yesterday

Is not the world of today

In this everchanging world,

What difference do we make?

What are we but tiny molecules of water,

Flowing through the river of life?

But it's those molecules of water

that wear the path the river runs.

They change the path the river flows

but never see the difference

For they are running ahead

Take a lesson from the river

You make a difference

Even if you never see the changes wrought
