Running...But It's Awesome


Salty sweat drips into my mouth and stings my eyes, 

but it's awesome

My legs are on fire from being forced up that long gradual hill,

but it's awesome

Peanut butter from breakfast creeps up into the back of my throat burning, 

but it's awesome

because I pushed through physical pain by using my tough mind

and finished the race, now mentally and physically tougher than before I started it.
