Rushing the Clock

Hurry up and go.. That's the lifestyle we have grown to know. Buses, cars , planes & trains take us where we need This place and that Our focus is pure greed Shaking your head? Saying, oh no, not me Yes You Your guilty Look in the mirror...you'll see Always wanting more working day in and day out, Where are your kids whom you know nothing about? Praises at your job a pat on the back Job well done Your the leader of your pack Back at home... You know the place Where are your kids Would you even recognize their face? Jimmy's in his room pushing the needle in He gave up the fight feels he can never win Little Susie she's in the bathroom finger down her throat right there with Jimmy in the same boat. Alma, your wife she was the first to go Pills took her early, again, you had to know Your happy home Not so happy now You gave in to greed Look at what's left of the people you need. You got what you wanted money by the sack, Now you wish you had your family back. "Rushing the Clock" always a need... Think before you get what makes your heart bleed.
