A Rythm

What’s in my head right now A rhythm plus a beat Skip the next two, and take a second to breathe Inhale, intake, new day, new say New way to live with a smile that I won’t just make but I’ll feel in every strangely renewed fiber of this being I’ve only just met We get along nicely, don’t you think? Notice an unweighted step, taking her and me and me and her ten times the length of any basin between I and where our hearts connect Pounding a rhythm plus a beat Skip two more, still I have so many words to speak and for you to hear from me
