Sabotage

As you sit there

Eyes blurry from a bright white screen

Surrounded by your password protected security blanket

All cozy and warm

Too afraid to actually speak

Not bright enough to actually read

Between the lines you find yourself falling

Conforming to the ways of the liposuction waist

The collagen injections

The plastic

Botox face

The scalpel nips and tucks

The truth fades away

We have sacrificed intelligence

For meaningless sex . . .

A below minimum wage

No beauty can be found here

For it is trapped inside your heart

No masterpieces formulated

Until you see we are all works of art

But you sit there

Eyes blurry from a bright white screen

Surrounded by your password protected security blanket

Only causing yourself harm
