Sabrina

Sun, 01/21/2018 - 21:33 -- GREnder

You know you're beautiful,

You know you're kind.

You know you're kinda cranky at times.

You know your strengths,

You know your flaws.

You know, you almost know it all.

But there's still things you've never heard.

One day, you'll be surprised.

It'll come when you're least expecting it.

It might come when someone dies.

I'm writing you this journal,

To tell you what is true.

That, although we don't see eye to eye,

I'd still like to talk to you.

It's a fun and humbling moment,

‘Cuz you see through my disguise.

You'll outright call me an ass,

While staring straight into my eyes.

I know we've had our moments,

That, looking back on, might've went

A little bit more different,

If I'd used more common sense.

I've said it times before,

But it still holds to this day,

I love you, Sabrina,

In a quite big brotherly way.

I'm not the best as family,

There's always better than me,

But I get quite determined

When helping people in need.

I know, I'm kinda awkward,

And annoying as can be.

I've seen some things that people

Should never, ever see.

So I ask you, to make this friendship

The best that it can be,

I'll be there for you,

If you're right there for me.
