The Sacrament
This Sabbath day I come to church and gently bow my head
And think of all the deeds I'd done and what I'd do instead.
I contemplate my worthiness and ponder on my peace
And as the bread is passed this way, I humbly take a piece.
As my lips partake the water that represents the blood of Christ,
I think of all the drops He gave with love and sacrifice.
No, I'm never perfect...no, I haven't ended with a final victory
But I'm working towards my home above with God and family.
