Sacrifice

We find so much joy in a thing we know is wrong,

But still we do it, just to feel like we belong.

All that we do, all that we say,

Just for one night, in hopes of getting away.

All the pain and all the hate,

Causes us girls to take the bait.

One night we lay with a man in bed,

A sacrifice made before we have wed.

it isn't funny, it's not a joke!

Young women end up lying without any hope.

All the pressure to make us break,

Society causes our hearth to ache.

Let me give you all some advice,

Your strong, don't make that sacrifice.
