What is love,

You might ask.

Is it something that will last?

As we grow deep and lonely within,

You will need someone to pull you back in.

Love is a strong word,

It is something that needs to be heard.

Caring, sweet, and loyal you may think of,

But it's much more than that--

It's this thing called love.

Someone who will always be there for you,

Never leave your side.

That's what we need to feel loved in our lives.

Always put others before yourself--

Because I love you,

I sacrifice myself.
