sad night
We ink our skin with words of forever to know that some things are worth a lifetime, we prioritize commitments and rearrange our schedules for five more minutes of sleep. And just when foreign becomes familiar, we move lands. Uncomfortable and awkward become normal bc living out a suitcase is the dream. Running on hangovers and no sleep, just to keep up with a lifestyle that we can't afford. Minimum wage and tips to pay bills like we have to learn a lesson. Work hard and live easy, as if being born into an easy life were hard. So we gateway from Nikki to Mary to Lucy bc nothing makes us feel good enough, and get away from the world as often as we can cause we don't feel like enough. We want to break standards and bend rules but boys take steroids cause they just want to be buff, and shit keeps getting tough. I just lost my job tell me how can't I bluff.. With a jacket that cost more than my college text books. We drop classes like changing majors and cry cause I thought I had it all figured out. But I'm only 18 so who was I kidding?
