THE SAD RE-OPENING

THE SAD REOPENING :

After the unending series
Of fun that begun when the annual academic curtain was drawn

I took a bow from the strict way of subjecting my being to the premises of my lectern and recliner to ruminate and it was not fun

Daily I was steered towards one part of unfailing success
And this part endued me with uneasy stress
I was told to mind my jobless business
Others did this without breaking a sweat
I did it and I begged for rest

Soon I forgot about all this
Twas then I knew what it meant to be free
No more silent scream
About that I didn't read
Holding unto the good grief

Tic tic tic in my face
When I heard twas time
Again to restart what I ended the other day
How time flies
I didn't enjoy the jolly fries
Then tears from my eyes
Like Nile
I could count the nights and they weren't up to nine

This time
I cried
Didn't smile
You know why

Shortly I will be compelled to act in a certain way
Dress in a certain way
Increasing unpleasant reverie
With topics that cause intellectual rivalries
Breading enmity

I'll be here ,there and then
I'll be forced to drop my poetic pen to prevent the collegiate F's
