Sad Sorrows

When I close my eyes, I can't help but want to die. The pain I feel cuts deep, Why Lord why do I feel so weak? Tears running down my face, I just want out this dark place. Been here for a couple years now, I just want to be freed...somehow. I can't tell all because they say, "be happy" But how can I when I feel so crappy? I have struggling friends I did nothing for, Oh do I wish I did much more. My heart longs to assist, But I feel like the love doesn't exist. I want love in return, When will it finally be my turn? Oh Lord what do you want from me? When will I be able to escape this choppy sea? I want that overwhelming happiness, But I suppose it's not my time...I guess.
