sad thoughts to my day

Memories of my most fulfilling and happy moments are clouded by the sharp edges of the haunting words that continue to linger day and night through out my head

Soft meaningful mantras turned into repeated lines of shameful powder as it blew into my blinded eyes

Ouch did it burn , as my world continues to turn, but why does it burn so suddenly, so harshly

My eyes wander slowly to the floor, the gaze stagnant and heavy making it nearly impossible to keep my head up

Because all around me is the highest form of expectations of joy and laughter forming, pulling my heart and mind into a thousand places all at once for feeling so different
