The Sad Truth...
Your purity....
Was like a forbidden fruit, i just wanted to touch it
I just wanted to hold it, even though it was fragile
It wasnt yet molded
It was frigit...
Almost like it had been scrorn before
Like its interior had been explored
This wasnt unfamiliar territory to somebody else
But it was foreign to myself...
Your mind....
Was mixed up i almost got lost in it
Kinda like you were lost yourself
I tried to help
I wanted to know what you thought...
Maybe not all the time, but the times i were interested you fought
You fought against my trust, so i fought against you
I fought against your smile, and the coy things that you would do
I had to leave your mind, before i ran out of time to claim what was mine
I didnt want your purity, because that was worn
I didnt want your mind that was obviously torn
Between the two, i wanted you...
Better yet your body
I wanted to make you love me than leave me
I wanted to walk away with you needing me
I wanted you on your knees and pleading
I wanted to interrupt your healing
I wanted to bring back your feeling
You thought you could get way with going numb
Well a numb body is no fun
I had to open up your wounds, i had to get you while you were raw
And i sat there as i watched your body slowly unthaw
I saw the hurt begin to hit you, to fill you again...
Could you honestly hate me?
I could have left you bitter, i could have left your soul to mindlessly wither
I could have left you cold like everybody else
I left you hot,,,,
Blood boiling for my toucch, hand yearning for my head
As much as you wanted me dead, you wanted me just as much in your bed
My job was to break you and i did
Wake up youre not a kid
You should pay attention next time
The world is filled with slimes, with attentions like mine
Maybe you'll learn
Too bad, you cant restart
You let me get away with your virginity and your heart
I built you up just to tear you apart
He built her up just to tear her apart
You built me up just to tear me apart....
And it finally hit me
I could finally understand the sad truth
Isnt wasnt the fact that you broke me
It was the fact that i let you....
