Sadness

No one will tell me

How to fix these things

They just try to sell me

many pretty dreams

"You'll be happy when you're older."

Hah, what a laugh

"Just smile when it gets colder."

Tell me, are you daft?

I want an answer

Something true

Not another stammer

And an odd thing to do

Could you tell me?

Or am I trapped?

When will I see?

Is the time really mapped?
