sadness

Hungry for something I’ll never receive,

Searching… but truly I do not believe,

Blinded by sanity, restricted by reason,

surviving cold winters, to face the blue season.

Climbing… my wish is that I may be free,

But then leave my freedom, so I can be me,

My words they confuse me, I’m sure they do you,

But deep in the middle, they say something true.

My strength is my weakness, my love is my hate,

I’m hungry, a fool with much food on his plate,

I try to relate… but all that I see,

Is sadness… the source of the darkness in me…
