SAFE

She sits holding herself. she's been hurt like this before but never once felt this way. her chest aches, her head pounds, and the tears just fall. Out of the shadows a boy steps, a smile he does show, he grabs her hand and they run away, little did she know, the hurt would soon be back. That boy with the stunning brown eyes, leaves her alone with no one to hate but herself, she longs to feel safe, she longs for an ending. She sits at home that night and tries for that ending. she slept with pins that night. she awoke to find the hurt still there, and getting worse. She longs for safety. Memories play like a movie in her mind, 'i love you' he says. she screams and throws herself to the ground, 'WHY!?" is all she says. A friends finds her lying there in that frenzied state, she tries to help but it is too late, she's gone now.

she's finally SAFE.
