Safe Haven

The desolation of one's existence is a challenge
Thoughts are rampant with no expression
On this facade of emptiness lives love
one so powerful, one so nurturing.

When there is nothing
we must overcome
to build something
to live off of.

She will be with me forever
as I will survive
My heart beats for an answer
which she will provide.

I will be hers
when resources don't exist
we will always stay true
until the end.
