A Safe Place

Stop what you are doing and make believe this thought:

Pretend you are alone & safe on a Himalayan mountain

Meditate & somehow find yourself sitting there in a warm room.

At peace & willing -

In the rain -

In a warm room, which shields you from discomfort.

Listen to the army of drops as you safely absorb their presence

And your blissful solitude

In your own personal sanctuary.

Breathe as you exist

Beyond the reach of the world

Defining your own world

Safe, from atop, like a god
