Safe Place

i always close the door behind me

as if to keep the monsters inside

they cling to the doorframe

and i coil up trying to hide

they think they are superior

it's getting difficult to prove them wrong

they spin my head round 'n round

i am beginning to wander around the wrong places

but here i stay

and the monsters stay too

inside this room a safe place awaits

where the monsters keep watch

because no one else can take it
