He appreciates me like the sun appreciates the moon

For when it is tired from conquering the world, it shares the sky each and every night

For he is the perfect balance of effort and grace with his guidance full of ease

His heart overflowing with beauty and abundance

He is the warmth of my soul and the fire to my passions

His bright blue eyes feel like the cool ocean waves of my childhood

Envisioning my toes buried into the warm sand along the shoreline, I lose myself every time I look at him

As if I could hear the roaring and rolling of the sea that consumes me into his safe treasure chest of protection

His hugs soft like butter, and strong like a shining night suited in armor

Like I was his long lost soulmate that had been floating around the universe endlessly

A twinkling star that came to life as he gracefully touched my skin.

He was truly the moonlight to my twilight, making it impossible to feel scared in the dark.
