The Saftey (Detached Blues)

Retreat now riddle recluse

to the mandate of your mind (always at the expense of the hollowing of your heart)

A siren song

on repeat

calls you to the safety of the known

the comforting cadence of an echo chamber

your personal Pink Floyd wall

no collision craft/cocoon reality (stay coddled in kind regard)

the insulation hampers the heat

and takes away the cold

until you

can

no longer

feel

at all
