said out loud

To you my friend, I write today,

I pray you’ll never go away,

A rose you gave, not seen but felt,

Your kindness caused my heart to melt.

I see your smile, and though not said,

I keep that picture in my head,

And in my heart, your every word,

Those said out loud, and those not heard.
