SAILING A DREAM

I sail away in the foggy distance My boat and I never reluctant to move on The thickened muddy marsh makes it heavy and resistant My mind set out with persistence and intent. I live where I row so I continue to the unknown My eyes like pearls Wide open with a craving for new sights To learn more just to see more I only remember I am alone at night My heart like a burning ember Passion for new sites I often lay there on the teak wooden floor Gazing at the stars I float graciously My soul in need for more I harbor no negative influence The beauty from above I take in fresh air when I breath. I travel with very little but Myself and my writings I never stay long It's the world and me We seem to get along I travel on many waters The sand blows with the breeze I rarely share in common The values to appease. Rough and rocky battles are only With the earth I love a challenge I never lose nor get hurt. The sun wakes me each morning The sounds of water rock me gently to sleep I only know i'm alone When night falls on the sea I travel with my heart to guide me where I go This is my entertainment My influence is the next place Just me and my sail boat
