Sailing Ships

In this world;

In this society;

In this vast sea filled with life.

There are things in this world

Things left untouched.

Boats that sink never to see the light of hope again

In those boats lie souls drowning in their own tears; Mothers, children, and love birds.

“Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream..."

Final goodbyes, the last few butterfly kisses.

She signed; the boat of her child’s future floats away to a better life.

“---Because I love you”

“You’re such a pain in the neck!”

“Because I love you; I will try harder”

“You’re so damn clingy!”

“Because I love you; I’ll give you space”

“Because I love you, I’ll keep my distance. I will sit in silence. I’ll let you drink every last drop of Corona. You’re a good man. It is the potion that drives him mad. You make our boat swing left and right. But I will keep it on the right path. No it’s not a jellyfish, it's the bruise on the side of my leg.”

“Because I love you I will pick up the bottles and write beautiful love quotes to fill them up and cast them in the sea.”

“Mommy, because I love you soooo, sooo much; I will wash the dishes. Because you work sooo, sooo much; I will take care of my baby brother.”

“My dear mother, I know you've worked really hard for my future. Since day one, every day, non stop. You would work day and night to fix my small boat, making it a bigger boat. A boat big enough for my dreams to float and never sink to the impossible. I will show you how great my boat will float to the future. I will come back with the biggest, most toughest boat there could possibly be!!!”

Rainbows and illusions tricking the mind.

Intertwined with the smell of burning leaves.

The beautiful soft touch of the fairy dust.

“He doesn't understand. He's unjust!!!”

He doesn't understand,

That sweet nectar running through my veins

I feel like a kid,

Playing prospector;

In search of magical crystals.

“Because I love you”--he says

“I will take you to the doctor. Please, don't consume those poisonous mushrooms, I can't see you in this bume”

Because you love me,

Appease.

Let me be.

Because you love me,

You'll join me,

We will reach never land together

Sail on Captain Hook’s ship.

“Because I love you;

I'll anchor you in my arms I won't let you fly this ship any longer.”

Every year, teenagers and children put in foster care, 480,000

2015, over 670,000 children were spending time in foster care in the United States.

They can not bare the pain.

Abstain the idea of new mommy, new daddy.

They feel as if ablation has taken their poor hearts.

The burning sensation of curiosity; of what's it like;

To live a normal and happy life;

Financially stable.

What an atrocity

Yet they move to become the best of the best.

40% of violent crimes occur under the influence of alcohol.

People being mauled in the name of “love”

17 million adults are diagnosed with alcohol addiction.

An affliction that stains relationships.

There's approximately 247 million drug users worldwide.

Their families abide and continue to stride.

In America, over 10 percent of drugs users are the age of 12.

These kids want to see “The Never Land”

They want to join Alice and the mad hatter

Their imagination no longer takes them to the palace of legos and toy cars.

Such beautiful relationships shattered for things that bring pleasure for a few hours.

Scattered bottles, needles, and cigarette butts

Because love isn't enough.

Because weed, cocaine, LSD, tequila, meth, beer, and cigarettes;

Makes you see the unreal

But love shows you the realistic pleasures in life

Love can last.

The sweet rose water never goes dry

People sink their ships because the boat wasn't made for carrying loads of empty bottles

They set in flames;

The burning anger

“I need more!”

The burning heart silently dies.

No sound. No shouts. No cries.

The timeless silence of “love”.

No disturbance in the water.
