salt.

lust after her salty taste

my lips, they sting

i cannot stray

nor can i hold

follow the tracks

they run deep and far

my toes, they bury

i start to sink

drown into shallow breath

my lungs cannot sustain

kissed by shadows i am

she will come over me soon

though my end i know near

i do not push

instead i pull

though speed will be encouraged

take me, i dare you

ready i am and have been

destroyer of worlds

destroyer of me

care i do not

though should i?

different question

time not to think such things

mother may cry

father may moan

so might i

but fear i do not

sunken by salt

my mouth filled by bitter taste

after all - lungs not sustain

sink me oh precious grain
