Saltwater Lullabies

In full transparency

bathed in sweet nectar

of golden honey light

saltwater lullabies dripped

into the mess of my mind

painting her walls

tearing down her barriers

seeping into each puncture of her soul

so I paused

to taste what love

feels like

drinking in her warmth

as she enveloped me in emptiness

the kind that makes you

become full

I began to flurish

as my parched and

punctured soul

regained life
