Salty Face
I walk down these halls
eat lunch in the stalls
laughter fills the air, ha ha ha
not me
my clenched jaw
keeps me from speaking
my faucet’s always leaking
salty face
it’s not a race
but do I take up too much space?
salty face
what a case
tell me, where is my place?
these walls have seen me
pass by so easy
nothing new
they’ve watched it all, it’s true
grey skin
dull eyes
like something thrown aside
no chips, no fries
could ever satisfy
salty face
salty face
my hands so cold
salty face
salty face
feelings I can’t hold
oh how I wish
on a shooting star
a golden dish
something close, not far
salty face
still running
still running
running on till the end of space
