Salvation

Doubts crowd me They close me in Force me to see A distorted illusion Twists my mind Makes me question Make me blind Gives no progression Then, there He is The source of creation How wonderful He is To grant me salvation To choose a boy To act as my guide To show me joy And stay by my side So now when I Am forced on my knees He hears my cry And responds to my pleas He gives me light In my pit of despair And holds me tight When evils pull elsewhere He is my loving prince A gift most undeserved Grateful to him since My happiness he’s preserved He calms my fears He heals my heart He stops my tears Before they start My gift from God Alleluia, Glory Be! I give thanks, my Lord You have set me free!
