Salvation

Darkness, all around me,

I can’t help but feel scared

Darkness, it’s swallowing me whole,

Why don’t people care?

Darkness, I didn’t have him,

But he had always been there.

Darkness, pitch black,

I cannot feel the air.

Sadness, it’s painful,

I need someone to love me.

Sadness, it’s frightful,

My life is right now empty.

Sadness, it kills you,

You die of deprivation.

Sadness, it’s no more,

If you accept salvation.
