A Sand Castle

Intricate

One look, and you look twice

One blink and I wisp away

One thought and I'm gone

I am a sand castle

Delicate

One poke and I crumble

One stomp and I squish and I squash

One slip and I fall down, down, down

I am a sand castle

Proud

One look, and you look twice

There I stand, right on my cracks

Better than you'd ever believe

A sculpture stopped to gape at

That is me

I am the sand castle

Slipping proud as can be
