Sandman

It started out as a joke, this world, this life

Wrapped in white sheets and given away by a slut

She told me in a letter later that she was my mother...

Mother?

i buried my mother  and father before and nevermore again as the humor was lost in the punchline

Oh the laughter got louder.

Acne, pain, isolation, and finally realizing this world is nothing more than a joke filled with living sand

God tried though, to fill me with peace but God too, is a part of the joke called, man

Military. Work. Love. Hate. And only finding the very sands shifting underneath.

Sex! Ah, fucking A!

Only... this too, a joke of stench, pain, and disease.

Old now, older than the very sands of time and finding an inner peace free of any world

free of the bonds of anything from this Universe

enjoying greatly the humor of God, of  all around; making the sands dance to my music

with finally,

a smile upon the face.
