Sandwich

Raspberry jam

Caught in my hand

Scathed thumb from the melted mozzarella

Fractured and fused together

Jigsaw memories

Scraped up and projected in

My movie brain

Playing over

While I fulfill my duties

As a mother

As a lover

As his wife
