An Sanguine Interpretation

A vast variety of opportunities so easily attainable

As if they were just only a handreach away

Fame, power, and riches were ineludible

My future was in my hands

The crazy thing is my future was in my hands

However I never knew of the effort required to grasp it

The younger me wouldn't understand i'm speaking of right now

Life, in his head, seemed easy

A child who unknowingly masked reality from his eyes

A shield that slowly crumbled away

And when that shield did

So did his happiness

Coming face to face with reality can make or break a man

Those who fall victim to their own self loathe remained unchanged

They become adjusted to their lifestyle

The become hopeless for the future and many

Become content

I was exceptionally comfortable

Full of self loath

hopeless

I am not satisfied
